The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Halil İbrahim Tekecan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aksaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR the free kick. The supporters of GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR booed when Aksaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halil İbrahim Tekecan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aksaray's zone, Afşin Kazakhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Turan Buğrahan came out of the goal and Afşin Kazakhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Barış Burçhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ahmet Turan Buğrahan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Turan Buğrahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşin Kazakhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Aksaray's Aras Okutman in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Abdulkerim Adar's late challenge caught a Aksaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Aksaray got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet İlke Tunçtürk. Aksaray's Arda Göksel Ustam suffered a concussion after 78 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atalay Nurkan during the 78th minute.
