Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5453, Seating: 1272, VIP seats: 47) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ali Galip Sargın took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Aksaray booed when Savastepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilla Tarkan Kargin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Emrullah İpekli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yıldıray Tahsin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aras Okutman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Tahsin having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Aras Okutman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yıldıray Tahsin. Savastepe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aras Okutman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Yıldıray Tahsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Okutman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Halil İbrahim Tekecan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Galip Sargın in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Turan Buğrahan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aras Okutman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Tahsin having to interfere. Ahmet Turan Buğrahan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Münir Has in the 31st minute. After the first half Aksaray were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Münir Has kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ahmet Turan Buğrahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Galip Sargın, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Arda Göksel Ustam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aras Okutman's late challenge caught a Savastepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aras Okutman helped the player get up and apologised. Yıldıray Tahsin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Nusrettin Şahap charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nusrettin Şahap the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Aksaray got a freekick which was hit by Nusrettin Şahap. Ali Galip Sargın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ahmet Turan Buğrahan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halil İbrahim Tekecan during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmet Turan Buğrahan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Galip Sargın went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 97 played minutes Savastepe got a freekick which was hit by Burhan Saffet.
