Yıldıray Tahsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Atahan Tezeren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Galip Sargın in the 12th minute of play forced GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR's goalkeeper Mürsel Çol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atahan Tezeren's late challenge caught a Savastepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atahan Tezeren helped the player get up and apologised. Atahan Tezeren kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With his leg Mürsel Çol managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Savastepe's Münir Has fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ali Galip Sargın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mürsel Çol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Ali Galip Sargın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savastepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Galip Sargın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Münir Has came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Savastepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Münir Has couldn't finish the play. When Münir Has fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Savastepe's protests and gave Münir Has a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR booed when Savastepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Münir Has didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savastepe's Yıldıray Tahsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Barış Burçhan in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, GENÇ ÇOTANAKLAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulkerim Adar to maneuver through the defense. Münir Has fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mürsel Çol having to interfere. Güven Cinel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Savastepe's Münir Has got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Münir Has shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mürsel Çol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afşin Kazakhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Yıldıray Tahsin made a huge save. Yıldıray Tahsin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mustafa Barış Burçhan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play.
