After 14 minutes, Emin Karanalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keles and the beşiktaş players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emin Karanalp hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Erkan Erdemir might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kerimhan İklim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erkan Erdemir ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Erkan Erdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot. beşiktaş's supporters rose to their feet, but Erkan Erdemir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kerimhan İklim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Baransel Ünlüsoy came free, but Gökçek Cebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Erkan Erdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerimhan İklim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Fethi Tuğaltay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hakan Tanbey hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Keles's Kerimhan İklim got control of the ball when Arkın Çelenk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Arkın Çelenk managed to get in a good position for a shot. beşiktaş's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkın Çelenk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kerimhan İklim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Arkın Çelenk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kerimhan İklim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erkan Erdemir in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kerimhan İklim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Coşkun Uğursan made the kick off in the second half. When Baransel Ünlüsoy came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Keles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baransel Ünlüsoy couldn't finish the play. Keles's Coşkun Uğursan got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Hakan Tanbey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. beşiktaş's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keles the free kick. Hakan Tanbey kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Arkın Çelenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kerimhan İklim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerimhan İklim came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by beşiktaş's Erkan Erdemir. But to his dismay, Erkan Erdemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gökçek Cebel was a little too slow when Coşkun Uğursan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 3-1. Kerimhan İklim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkın Çelenk in the 73rd minute of play. Gökçek Cebel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baransel Ünlüsoy in the 81st minute. Arkın Çelenk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerimhan İklim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkan Erdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Kerimhan İklim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkan Erdemir in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Arkın Çelenk notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Keles's Kerimhan İklim. Kerimhan İklim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Keles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for beşiktaş.
