Ragıp Ongunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aydın Kutberk in the 4th minute of the match. Aydın Kutberks short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Ragıp Ongunes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ahmet Efe İpekdal came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the FuRuRuM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Efe İpekdal couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FuRuRuM booed when Kizilirmak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semail Erdemalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aydın Kutberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragıp Ongunes having to interfere. When FuRuRuM's Aydın Kutberk in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kizilirmak's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute of the match, Ahmet Efe İpekdal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ragıp Ongunes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute, Arif Nihat Ünlüer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Muhittin Altıparmak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Evren Cömert hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of FuRuRuM booed when Kizilirmak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cuma İdrisoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kizilirmak's Arif Nihat Ünlüer got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Efe İpekdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ragıp Ongunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Seyfettin Ezrak got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aydın Kutberk struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ragıp Ongunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FuRuRuM. Aydın Kutberk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aydın Kutberk might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ragıp Ongunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aydın Kutberk ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the game, Boğaç Pekergin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ragıp Ongunes. Boğaç Pekergin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Aydın Kutberk scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ragıp Ongunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yaman Karin hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arif Nihat Ünlüer made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Balaban Bardakçıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ragıp Ongunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boğaç Pekergin went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Mustafa Namık Samim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Altıparmak having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kizilirmak's zone, Aydın Kutberk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ragıp Ongunes came out of the goal and Aydın Kutberk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Mustafa Namık Samim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kizilirmak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Namık Samim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aydın Kutberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aydın Kutberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragıp Ongunes having to interfere. In the 97th minute Aydın Kutberk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragıp Ongunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FuRuRuM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
