After a defensive mix-up in Gs SK's zone, Ramazan Tacal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamer Mertol came out of the goal and Ramazan Tacal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kamer Mertol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramazan Tacal in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes Gs SK got a freekick which was hit by Veysel Savtur. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bülent Tandoğdu made the kick off in the second half. Gs SK's Kamer Mertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramazan Tacal in the 57th minute of play.
