Spectators: 5808 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hayrettin Şinas started the match with the kick off. Zeki Taşcan scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Işıkalp Dilşah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeki Taşcan might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Işıkalp Dilşah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeki Taşcan ran back to his position shaking his head. Tayfun Ökmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bektaş Ali Tigin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KEPSUT SPOR's Tayfun Ökmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Şinas in the 25th minute of play. Yücel Yergin charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yücel Yergin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Baglarbasi SK booed when KEPSUT SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yücel Yergin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Burhanettin Şen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KEPSUT SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhanettin Şen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KEPSUT SPOR's Tayfun Ökmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş Ali Tigin in the 35th minute of play. If Hayrettin Şinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bektaş Ali Tigin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nizam Özerdinc fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KEPSUT SPOR's protests and gave Nizam Özerdinc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Nizam Özerdinc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ekrem Öner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tayfun Ökmen. KEPSUT SPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayrettin Şinas in the 62nd minute of play forced KEPSUT SPOR's goalkeeper Tayfun Ökmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bektaş Ali Tigin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yücel Yergin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayrettin Şinas in the 65th minute of play forced KEPSUT SPOR's goalkeeper Tayfun Ökmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burhanettin Şen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Işıkalp Dilşah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Baglarbasi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Akbilge to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in KEPSUT SPOR's zone, Hayrettin Şinas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfun Ökmen came out of the goal and Hayrettin Şinas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Bektaş Ali Tigin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Hayrettin Şinas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tayfun Ökmen. Hayrettin Şinas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3.
