The tension between the Altınordu FK and the Gs SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gs SK booed when Altınordu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orkun Ruhittin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arif Çelebi Temizkanoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altınordu FK's protests and gave Arif Çelebi Temizkanoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Altınordu FK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Arif Çelebi Temizkanoğlu hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Bülent Tandoğdu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sertel Uyun. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 16th minute, Arif Oğuz Tutku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Vahap Uğurtay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gs SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vahap Uğurtay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sertel Uyun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 played minutes Altınordu FK got a freekick which was hit by Orkun Ruhittin. Bülent Tandoğdu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sertel Uyun. Altınordu FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Servet Arpacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sertel Uyun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berke Tolay hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes of play Altınordu FK's Orkun Ruhittin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 33 played minutes Altınordu FK got a freekick which was hit by Orkun Ruhittin. In the 35th minute, Bülent Tandoğdu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Altınordu FK's Sertel Uyun didn't even have to move. Servet Arpacı struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sertel Uyun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gs SK. Sertel Uyun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Arpacı in the 41st minute of play. Altınordu FK's Sertel Uyun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Altınordu FK from getting a goal against them. Gs SK's Bahadırhan Kahveci got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bülent Tandoğdu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Altınordu FK's goalkeeper Sertel Uyun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Servet Arpacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Gs SK's Bülent Tandoğdu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sertel Uyun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Bülent Tandoğdu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gs SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bülent Tandoğdu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Vahap Uğurtay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arif Buğra Şanberk had several of the Gs SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Kamer Mertol as he didn't even see the shot coming. Servet Arpacı struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Sertel Uyun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gs SK. When Vahap Uğurtay came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Gs SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahap Uğurtay couldn't finish the play. Sertel Uyun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bülent Tandoğdu in the 75th minute of the match. Vacid Tuğsavan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Gs SK's Bülent Tandoğdu in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altınordu FK's goalie prevented a goal. Kamer Mertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berke Tolay in the 86th minute of play. Sertel Uyun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volkan Yürükoğlu in the 88th minute of play. Vahap Uğurtay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Uyun having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bülent Tandoğdu in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sertel Uyun saved Altınordu FK from getting behind. Volkan Yürükoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahadırhan Kahveci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Uyun having to interfere. Gs SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
