Cesmealtispor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bülent Tandoğdu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ünal Kapkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürcan Kocaalp in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Cesmealtispor's goal looked a bit too open when Bülent Tandoğdu came free, but Ünal Kapkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ünal Kapkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bülent Tandoğdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Vahap Uğurtay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ünal Kapkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürcan Kocaalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Servet Arpacı's late challenge caught a Cesmealtispor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Servet Arpacı helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gs SK's Servet Arpacı got a free kick in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Cesmealtispor defense, Bahadırhan Kahveci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ünal Kapkin. The Cesmealtispor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ünal Kapkin should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Gs SK's Bahadırhan Kahveci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ünal Kapkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gs SK's Kamer Mertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Veli Şinas in the 43rd minute of play. Orhan Veli Şinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ünal Kapkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bülent Tandoğdu in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bülent Tandoğdu to make the kick off. Ünal Kapkin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bülent Tandoğdu went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ünal Kapkin came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Gs SK's Bülent Tandoğdu. But to his dismay, Bülent Tandoğdu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Cesmealtispor's Ünal Kapkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servet Arpacı in the 63rd minute of play. Ünal Kapkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahap Uğurtay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ünal Kapkin was a little too slow when Bülent Tandoğdu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-5. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Bülent Tandoğdu took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Ünal Kapkin to make any attempt to save it. Cesmealtispor's Ünal Kapkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servet Arpacı in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Gs SK booed when Cesmealtispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talip Oylum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesmealtispor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Vahap Uğurtay scored to the left of an out of position Ünal Kapkin, making the score, 0-7. Bülent Tandoğdu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ünal Kapkin made a huge save.
