An unexpectedly hard shot by Vefa Hızlan in the 6th minute of play forced Gs SK's goalkeeper Kamer Mertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Servet Arpacı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Keşif having to interfere. Bahadırhan Kahveci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anıl Keşif having to make a save. If Bahadırhan Kahveci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Servet Arpacı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vahap Uğurtay struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Anıl Keşif didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gs SK. Gs SK's Kamer Mertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vefa Hızlan in the 24th minute of play. Berker Aliyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kamer Mertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Aliyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Gürcan Kocaalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gs SK fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Gs SK's Bülent Tandoğdu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kamer Mertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berker Aliyar in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bülent Tandoğdu was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gürcan Kocaalp during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Gs SK got a freekick which was hit by Gürcan Kocaalp. Anıl Keşif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahap Uğurtay in the 57th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Gs SK's Servet Arpacı made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anıl Keşif was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kamer Mertol made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Vefa Hızlan sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Turan Cebel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gs SK's Bülent Tandoğdu in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenerbahçe 1907 SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute Bülent Tandoğdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Keşif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bülent Tandoğdu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anıl Keşif having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Servet Arpacı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gs SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Servet Arpacı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anıl Keşif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Servet Arpacı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gs SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe 1907 SK the free kick. Servet Arpacı kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Anıl Keşif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahap Uğurtay in the 87th minute of the match. If Vahap Uğurtay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Bahadırhan Kahveci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gs SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahadırhan Kahveci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Aliyar in the 95th minute of play forced Gs SK's goalkeeper Kamer Mertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bülent Tandoğdu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gs SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bülent Tandoğdu couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Gs SK were the better team. Gs SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
