BURSASPOR's Işıkalp Ulusu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Baybora in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Acar Alkım got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Demirözü's Tunç Baybora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Işıkalp Ulusu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sertaç Sargut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafettin Yetiş having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Necat Ulukan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertaç Sargut in the 22nd minute of play forced Demirözü's goalkeeper Rafettin Yetiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Demirözü's zone, Sertaç Sargut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafettin Yetiş came out of the goal and Sertaç Sargut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Demirözü's Tunç Baybora in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BURSASPOR's goalie prevented a goal. Kudret Kazakhan charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kudret Kazakhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BURSASPOR booed when Demirözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kudret Kazakhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necmi Vehbi in the 34th minute of play forced Demirözü's goalkeeper Rafettin Yetiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tunç Baybora in the 43rd minute of play forced BURSASPOR's goalkeeper Işıkalp Ulusu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acar Alkım recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes, Tunç Baybora made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. BURSASPOR's Işıkalp Ulusu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Tunç Baybora made the kick off in the second half. If Acar Alkım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Demirözü's Batıkan Çağman got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Süreyya Gaza hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, BURSASPOR's goalkeeper Işıkalp Ulusu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tunç Baybora. After a rather tough play, BURSASPOR's Ali Cengiz Erguvan got a free kick in the 68th minute. The Demirözü fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Demirözü's Batıkan Çağman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 86 minutes into the match, BURSASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Acar Alkım came free, but Işıkalp Ulusu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BURSASPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Demirözü were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
