Arman Muren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necmi Vehbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Arman Muren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sertaç Sargut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sertaç Sargut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Arman Muren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Yenifakili's goal looked a bit too open when Necmi Vehbi came free, but Arman Muren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necmi Vehbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sertaç Sargut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arman Muren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Sertaç Sargut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Muren having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Sertaç Sargut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, BURSASPOR's Necmi Vehbi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arman Muren was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Necat Ulukan in the 41st minute of play forced Yenifakili's goalkeeper Arman Muren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sertaç Sargut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Ahmet Sedat Olgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necmi Vehbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Muren having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sertaç Sargut made a kick off. İstemihan Özgu struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Işıkalp Ulusu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenifakili. In the 60th minute of the match Vural Murat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arman Muren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ali Haydar Ekin charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Haydar Ekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BURSASPOR booed when Yenifakili was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Haydar Ekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yenifakili's Arman Muren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sertaç Sargut in the 64th minute of play. Arman Muren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necmi Vehbi in the 65th minute. With his leg Arman Muren managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when BURSASPOR's Necmi Vehbi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Necmi Vehbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Yenifakili got a freekick which was hit by Ali Haydar Ekin. After a defensive mix-up in Yenifakili's zone, Sertaç Sargut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Muren came out of the goal and Sertaç Sargut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertaç Sargut in the 79th minute of play forced Yenifakili's goalkeeper Arman Muren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sertaç Sargut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Azim Afak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If İstemihan Özgu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Işıkalp Ulusu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atabey Kırdar in the 96th minute of play. BURSASPOR played a much better game than Yenifakili and deserved their victory. The Yenifakili players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
