Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tunç Baybora got the match started through his kick off. If Hatemi Yalçıner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tunç Baybora in the 6th minute of play forced Balcova's goalkeeper Fethi Akersoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Demirözü's zone, Zülfikar Alptekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafettin Yetiş came out of the goal and Zülfikar Alptekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fethi Akersoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tunç Baybora in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ali Faruk Sabih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Demirözü's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Faruk Sabih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fethi Akersoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Tunç Baybora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demirözü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, İnanç Kemal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafettin Yetiş. İnanç Kemal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Tunç Baybora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fethi Akersoy having to interfere. Tunç Baybora hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Demirözü's Rafettin Yetiş got control of the ball when İbrahim Efe Özduru tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Balcova's goal looked a bit too open when Tunç Baybora came free, but Fethi Akersoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zülfikar Alptekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fethi Akersoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tunç Baybora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tunç Baybora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the game, İnanç Kemal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balcova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Demirözü the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Balcova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İnanç Kemal to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute Demirözü were awarded a corner. Yetkiner Arslanoğlu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Demirözü's Zaid Elmacı getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when İbrahim Efe Özduru made the kick off in the second half. İbrahim Efe Özduru struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rafettin Yetiş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcova. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tunç Baybora in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fethi Akersoy saved Balcova from getting behind. Fethi Akersoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tunç Baybora, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Ali Faruk Sabih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alperen Tigin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Demirözü's Zaid Elmacı got a free kick in the 74th minute. İbrahim Efe Özduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rafettin Yetiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game İbrahim Efe Özduru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Demirözü's Rafettin Yetiş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by İnanç Kemal in the 83rd minute of play forced Demirözü's goalkeeper Rafettin Yetiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acar Alkım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Acar Alkım managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Demirözü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acar Alkım was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demirözü's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
