Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Genç Spor getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Devlet Ruknettin hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Yılmaz Şendoğan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Genç Spor's Alemdar Acaralp. Alemdar Acaralp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Genç Spor defense, Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alemdar Acaralp. The Genç Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alemdar Acaralp should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kütahyaspor's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Akçınar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Yılmaz Şendoğan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Devlet Ruknettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alemdar Acaralp having to interfere. Alemdar Acaralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Genç Spor's zone, Yılmaz Şendoğan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alemdar Acaralp came out of the goal and Yılmaz Şendoğan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı in the 37th minute of play forced Genç Spor's goalkeeper Alemdar Acaralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alemdar Acaralp having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Kütahyaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yılmaz Şendoğan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kütahyaspor's zone, Cuma Tezveren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Ozan Akçınar came out of the goal and Cuma Tezveren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alemdar Acaralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yılmaz Şendoğan in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Devlet Ruknettin made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Genç Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı came free, but Alemdar Acaralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kütahyaspor's Yılmaz Şendoğan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Cuma Tezveren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genç Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Cuma Tezveren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Ozan Akçınar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Devlet Ruknettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alemdar Acaralp was a little too slow when Yılmaz Şendoğan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Devlet Ruknettin in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Ozan Akçınar saved Kütahyaspor from getting behind. Kütahyaspor's Arif Ozan Akçınar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devlet Ruknettin in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yılmaz Şendoğan in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alemdar Acaralp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 75th minute Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alemdar Acaralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yılmaz Şendoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alemdar Acaralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Ediz Aktaşlı was extremely unlucky when he, in the 98th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
