Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peker İlighan kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Sarigöl FK got a freekick which was hit by Ünal Sağbilge. Tunç Baybora took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birkan Mengü. Birkan Mengü dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Acar Alkım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Hatemi Yalçıner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Demirözü's supporters rose to their feet, but Hatemi Yalçıner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birkan Mengü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes of play, Demirözü's Tunç Baybora made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birkan Mengü was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yetkiner Arslanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Demirözü booed when Sarigöl FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Şefik Yazgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erdinç Akbaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peker İlighan's late challenge caught a Demirözü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peker İlighan helped the player get up and apologised. 42 minutes into the match, Sarigöl FK's goalkeeper Birkan Mengü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tunç Baybora. Ali Faruk Sabih's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birkan Mengü read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Demirözü's Tunç Baybora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birkan Mengü narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Sarigöl FK's Peker İlighan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafettin Yetiş. Rafettin Yetiş yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Erdinç Akbaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafettin Yetiş having to interfere. Ali Faruk Sabih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Birkan Mengü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tunç Baybora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Birkan Mengü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birkan Mengü came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Demirözü's Tunç Baybora. But to his dismay, Tunç Baybora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 79th minute, Tunç Baybora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demirözü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Erdinç Akbaba came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rafettin Yetiş could save by the left post. In the 88thth minute of the game Tunç Baybora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarigöl FK's Birkan Mengü was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Birkan Mengü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hatemi Yalçıner in the 90th minute of the match. Ali Faruk Sabih took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birkan Mengü. Birkan Mengü dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Demirözü fully deserved thier win.
