The audience was convinced that Çetin Tecen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Burhanettin Özduru was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. After 14 minutes of play, KONYASPOR's Berker Balbay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Burhanettin Özduru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hüseyin Can Pirane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baysal Veli having to interfere. Berker Balbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Edirne JK's zone, Çetin Tecen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burhanettin Özduru came out of the goal and Çetin Tecen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çetin Tecen in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burhanettin Özduru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Berker Balbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berker Balbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burhanettin Özduru having to interfere. Ali Atıf Elmacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Berker Balbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Çetin Tecen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burhanettin Özduru having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Balbay in the 63rd minute of play forced Edirne JK's goalkeeper Burhanettin Özduru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baysal Veli made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Özden Özbil sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Berker Balbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burhanettin Özduru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burhanettin Özduru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berker Balbay went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
