Ergani JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halim Aras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ergani JK's Yenal Haznedaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Can Canpolat in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ergani JK's zone, Halil Can Canpolat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yenal Haznedaroğlu came out of the goal and Halil Can Canpolat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Bulut Sergen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sufi Türkmen. The goal made the score 1-0. Halim Aras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sufi Türkmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FATSASPOR booed when Ergani JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Arıkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bulut Sergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sufi Türkmen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bulut Sergen in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sufi Türkmen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halil Can Canpolat in the 42nd minute of play forced Ergani JK's goalkeeper Yenal Haznedaroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 44 in the game by Halim Aras from a close distance when the talented Sufi Türkmen managed to make a qualified save. FATSASPOR's players were relieved. Sufi Türkmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bulut Sergen in the 46th minute of play. Halim Aras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
