Mehmet Şefik Tümen came out of the goal and Bahadır Kılıçdaroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sinan Uğurtay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atacan Yasin having to interfere. Tahsin İrgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atacan Yasin having to interfere. Atacan Yasin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tahsin İrgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
