The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Özalp İlhanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Şeray Aksakal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yusuf Ziya Esraf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Akbora in the 16th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Cihan Özdilek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bucaspor SK and the Cay Yesili players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Bucaspor SK got a freekick which was hit by Cihan Özdilek. 21 minutes into the match, Uğuralp Beybolat notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bucaspor SK's Şeray Aksakal. Şeray Aksakal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Cay Yesili getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aziz Özhan hit a great ball. Yusuf Ziya Esraf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olcay Akbora, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Işık Tokyüz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Battal Seyyit Bahadır's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yusuf Ziya Esraf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Olcay Akbora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şeray Aksakal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baki Levent in the 35th minute of play. Refik Gezer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Battal Seyyit Bahadır shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yusuf Ziya Esraf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, Cay Yesili was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Işık Tokyüz to maneuver through the defense. Cay Yesili's Yusuf Ziya Esraf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ecevit Ongen in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derviş Kuman to strike the kick off in the second half. Yusuf Ziya Esraf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derviş Kuman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göktürk Ulağ kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Bucaspor SK's goal looked a bit too open when Baki Levent came free, but Şeray Aksakal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cay Yesili getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Refik Gezer hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Bucaspor SK's Battal Seyyit Bahadır tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Tahsin Altın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bucaspor SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derviş Kuman in the 82nd minute of play forced Cay Yesili's goalkeeper Yusuf Ziya Esraf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baki Levent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şeray Aksakal having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uğuralp Beybolat in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şeray Aksakal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Bucaspor SK booed when Cay Yesili was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lemi Cansoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Göktürk Ulağ made a precise shot to the right of Şeray Aksakal. Bucaspor SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cay Yesili fully deserved thier win.
