Cay Yesili's Yusuf Ziya Esraf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Cay Yesili from getting a goal against them. Cay Yesili's Uğuralp Beybolat got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sami Rusuhi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Yusuf Ziya Esraf made a huge save. After 17 played minutes Cay Yesili got a freekick which was hit by Aziz Özhan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aykutalp Turgay in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yusuf Ziya Esraf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Uğuralp Beybolat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Baykan Şevki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th match minute, Aslangücü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cem Varol to maneuver through the defense. Uğuralp Beybolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Uğuralp Beybolat notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Aslangücü FK's Baykan Şevki. Baykan Şevki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute, Baki Levent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Cay Yesili was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktürk Ulağ to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cay Yesili booed when Aslangücü FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cem Varol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baki Levent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Baykan Şevki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Cay Yesili's goal looked a bit too open when Cem Varol came free, but Yusuf Ziya Esraf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aykutalp Turgay to make the kick off. Aziz Özhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uğuralp Beybolat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, Aslangücü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kayacan Rafiz to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes, Cay Yesili's Baki Levent shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baykan Şevki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cay Yesili reached it. Sami Rusuhi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, Aslangücü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cem Varol to maneuver through the defense. Cem Varol might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yusuf Ziya Esraf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cem Varol ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykutalp Turgay in the 74th minute of play forced Cay Yesili's goalkeeper Yusuf Ziya Esraf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baki Levent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykan Şevki having to interfere. Karhan Harmanda hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes, Cay Yesili's Baki Levent shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baykan Şevki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cay Yesili reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göktürk Yetik in the 87th minute of play forced Cay Yesili's goalkeeper Yusuf Ziya Esraf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cay Yesili defense, Cem Varol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yusuf Ziya Esraf. The Cay Yesili fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yusuf Ziya Esraf should have stopped the shot. Baykan Şevki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baki Levent in the 94th minute of the match. Baki Levent struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Baykan Şevki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cay Yesili.
