After 11 played minutes ARES FK got a freekick which was hit by İsmet Kuyas. Şakir Yoruk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Orhun Yazıcıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Tugay Bilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevher Oktay having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Metin Nusret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şakir Yoruk. ARES FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Metin Nusret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Abesoglu fk booed when ARES FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selman Remiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Ali Vedat Naim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. İsmail Orhun Yazıcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Şakir Yoruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şakir Yoruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsmail Orhun Yazıcıoğlu in the 46th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, İsmet Kuyas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARES FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abesoglu fk the free kick. After a rather tough play, ARES FK's İsmet Kuyas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samet Uluant to strike the kick off in the second half. If Metin Nusret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. When the final whistle sounded Abesoglu fk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ARES FK.
