Spectators: 6932 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 5) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samet Uluant started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, ARES FK's Nizam Demirman got a free kick in the 4th minute. Hüsnü Ulum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Şakir Yoruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İsmet Kuyas during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, ARES FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmet Kuyas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ARES FK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Selman Remiz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ali Güralp Baray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Güralp Baray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüsnü Ulum showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Hüsnü Ulum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şakir Yoruk having to interfere. Şakir Yoruk was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kutlay Coşkun. After having played for 91 minutes, Müjdat Bengialp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakaryaspor Spor Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müjdat Bengialp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haşim Arslanoğlu's late challenge caught a ARES FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haşim Arslanoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Haşim Arslanoğlu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Raik Dikici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Bilek in the 95th minute of play.
