Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Lions's Tzvetelin Zlatarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Hakan Nursal in the 10th minute of play. Mustafa Hakan Nursal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Hakan Nursal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Hakan Nursal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tzvetelin Zlatarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tzvetelin Zlatarski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Turabi Akansel went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Turabi Akansel charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turabi Akansel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Laleli JK got a freekick which was hit by Turabi Akansel. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Hakan Nursal in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tzvetelin Zlatarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laleli JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Oğuzer Sebil scored to the left of an out of position Bilge Kağan Balkar, making the score, 1-1. If Aydın Sermet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Macit Ermiye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilge Kağan Balkar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aydın Sermet in the 40th minute of play forced Lions's goalkeeper Tzvetelin Zlatarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzer Sebil kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Tzvetelin Zlatarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aydın Sermet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mustafa Hakan Nursal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Hakan Nursal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aydın Sermet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Lions's goalkeeper Tzvetelin Zlatarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aydın Sermet. With an all-out effort, Laleli JK's Tzvetelin Zlatarski threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mustafa Hakan Nursal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aydın Sermet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Tzvetelin Zlatarski made a huge save. The supporters of Laleli JK booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macit Ermiye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tzvetelin Zlatarski was a little too slow when Mustafa Hakan Nursal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-2. 82 minutes into the match, Aydın Sermet notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Lions's Tzvetelin Zlatarski. Tzvetelin Zlatarski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Laleli JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
