Macit Ermiye's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tahir Sertel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Yağızalp Kazak put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tzvetelin Zlatarski. Yağızalp Kazak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tzvetelin Zlatarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızalp Kazak in the 29th minute of play forced Lions's goalkeeper Tzvetelin Zlatarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Macit Ermiye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Macit Ermiye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tahir Sertel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oğuzer Sebil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tahir Sertel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzer Sebil in the 39th minute of play forced Yakacik's goalkeeper Tahir Sertel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdoğan Vahdettin in the 45th minute of play forced Lions's goalkeeper Tzvetelin Zlatarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yağızalp Kazak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Yağızalp Kazak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haluk Türköne charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haluk Türköne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 minutes of play, Yakacik's Yağızalp Kazak made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tzvetelin Zlatarski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tzvetelin Zlatarski came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yakacik's Erdoğan Vahdettin. But to his dismay, Erdoğan Vahdettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Taci Ulusan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Yakacik got a freekick which was hit by Arman Umur. Tzvetelin Zlatarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdoğan Vahdettin in the 81st minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Yakacik's goalkeeper Tahir Sertel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oğuzer Sebil. 89 minutes into the match, Oğuzer Sebil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tahir Sertel, 3-1. 94 minutes into the match, Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Erdoğan Vahdettin came free, but Tzvetelin Zlatarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tzvetelin Zlatarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdoğan Vahdettin in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yakacik fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lions had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
