The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgün Hürmetli got free with Tzvetelin Zlatarski in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lions's Tzvetelin Zlatarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Lions from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Tuna İdilkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzvetelin Zlatarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Kaygsz FK's Tzvetelin Zlatarski threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Özgün Hürmetli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Macit Ermiye struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Yaser Güdeş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions. The supporters of Kaygsz FK booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Efe Develi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lions's Oğuzer Sebil got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oğuzer Sebil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neşat Canbulat struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Tzvetelin Zlatarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaygsz FK.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oğuzer Sebil was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lions's goalkeeper Tzvetelin Zlatarski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Kaygsz FK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
