The audience thought a goal was coming when Vehdi Özyay got free with Sakut Temizkan in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Furkan Okkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Güven Yalkın's late challenge caught a GS SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güven Yalkın helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, GS SPOR's Altay Seza tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ali Cafer Cansun made the kick off in the second half. Sakut Temizkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furkan Okkan in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Vehdi Özyay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GS SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vehdi Özyay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GS SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vehdi Özyay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Vehdi Özyay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakut Temizkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, GS SPOR's Furkan Okkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sakut Temizkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
