Ali Faruk Derviş made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mehmet Ali Uluşahin sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Ahmet Turan Aksakal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geyve SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Çakırcaspor the free kick. After a rather tough play, Geyve SK's Ahmet Turan Aksakal got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Sungurhan Okboğa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mehmet Ali Uluşahin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ali Faruk Derviş made a huge save. Mehmet Ali Uluşahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gafur Ekvan's late challenge caught a Çakırcaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gafur Ekvan helped the player get up and apologised. Gafur Ekvan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Çakırcaspor's Mehmet Ali Uluşahin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Faruk Derviş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Geyve SK booed when Çakırcaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfullah Serim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, İlmi Şenyaşar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ali Faruk Derviş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Ali Uluşahin in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sungurhan Okboğa to make the kick off. Geyve SK's Atıf Dolunay got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Mehmet Ali Uluşahin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çakırcaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Ali Uluşahin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Faruk Derviş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atıf Dolunay got free with Anıl Berk Sarper in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Çakırcaspor's Acun Hatim got a free kick in the 60th minute. With his leg Anıl Berk Sarper managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Geyve SK's Atıf Dolunay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sungurhan Okboğa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fethi Semdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Anıl Berk Sarper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Atıf Dolunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, one of Geyve SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Çakırcaspor. Faik Nursal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ali Faruk Derviş. 2-2. Mehmet Ali Uluşahin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Faruk Derviş having to make a save. Fethi Semdin might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Berk Sarper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fethi Semdin ran back to his position shaking his head. Geyve SK's Ali Faruk Derviş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungurhan Okboğa in the 93rd minute of play. Ali Faruk Derviş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ali Uluşahin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
