Hulki Balcan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Güner Çağnur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Faruk Derviş having to interfere. Ahmet Turan Aksakal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Fethi Semdin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Geyve SK's goalkeeper Ali Faruk Derviş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güner Çağnur. After 28 played minutes Geyve SK got a freekick which was hit by Fethi Semdin. In the 29th minute Arif Çelebi Ekber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Faruk Derviş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Güner Çağnur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70thth minute of the game Arif Çelebi Ekber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geyve SK's Ali Faruk Derviş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Geyve SK defense, Arif Çelebi Ekber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Faruk Derviş. The Geyve SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Faruk Derviş should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the game, İstanbul Güngörenspor's Arif Çelebi Ekber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Faruk Derviş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Güner Çağnur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ali Faruk Derviş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atıf Dolunay struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Duran Uğurlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geyve SK. Görkem Nesip kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match İstanbul Güngörenspor got a corner. Geyve SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehmet Ediz Turgay ran over to the corner to take the kick.
