Hamdi Soysaldı hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of CİMBOMBOM booed when Çakırcaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. CİMBOMBOM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serter Adak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute Serter Adak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Berk Sarper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Mehmet Ali Uluşahin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anıl Berk Sarper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serter Adak in the 81st minute of the match. Anıl Berk Sarper was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rıdvan Başay. Anıl Berk Sarper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serter Adak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nejat Alp Kaygun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
