The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yasin Tuğcu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Yasin Tuğcu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sezai Okatay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adil Toralp in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emrah Yalazay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sezai Okatay, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Emrah Yalazay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metehan Balatekin in the 19th minute. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Bayedşeri SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Rıfat Ahi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adil Toralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adil Toralp in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emrah Yalazay saved Bayedşeri SK from getting behind. Ahmet Rıfat Ahi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Şefik Yavuzalp in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Ali Hüsrev saved Liverpool FC from getting behind. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Bayedşeri SK's Sezai Okatay. But to his dismay, Sezai Okatay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th minute, Serdar Ayberk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Garip Rical managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayedşeri SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garip Rical was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Liverpool FC's Metehan Balatekin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Şefik Yavuzalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Şefik Yavuzalp was the one to do the kick off. Metehan Balatekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emrah Yalazay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Emrah Yalazay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adil Toralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Serdar Ayberk hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Garip Rical recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liverpool FC's Mehmet Ali Hüsrev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool FC from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Sezai Okatay sent off a good shot on target. After 63 minutes, Bahtiyar Erva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool FC and the Bayedşeri SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Bayedşeri SK a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Garip Rical, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Liverpool FC's Mehmet Ali Hüsrev. 1-2. If Metehan Balatekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Bayedşeri SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şadi Gündüz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Metehan Balatekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adil Toralp in the 87th minute of play forced Bayedşeri SK's goalkeeper Emrah Yalazay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Şefik Yavuzalp struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayedşeri SK. Sezai Okatay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
