Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Atacan Tüzünalp made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Akif Yanıker in the 4th minute of play forced Ardahan's goalkeeper Birkan Kızılaslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Gevas JK got a corner. Ardahan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Başaran Sezgen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Başaran Sezgen made a great header on Gevas JK's corner, it was just that Ardahan's Birkan Kızılaslan managed to reach the ball for a save. If Başaran Sezgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gevas JK's Deniz Tokuşhan got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Vecdet Bozyiğit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Atacan Tüzünalp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bora Han Tolgahan. The goal made the score 1-0. Birkan Kızılaslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başaran Sezgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Güner Baybora kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Mehmet Akif Yanıker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Ardahan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabit Topay to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Deniz Tokuşhan made a precise shot to the right of Birkan Kızılaslan. Ardahan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Bora Han Tolgahan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Güner Baybora went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 36 played minutes Ardahan got a freekick which was hit by Ekrem Ekiner. Ahmet Vefik Arpacı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birkan Kızılaslan having to make a save. The supporters of Gevas JK booed when Ardahan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güner Baybora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gevas JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Başaran Sezgen in the 40th minute. Ferhan Üstay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birkan Kızılaslan having to interfere. Birkan Kızılaslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhan Üstay in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Mehmet Akif Yanıker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gevas JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Başaran Sezgen to make the kick off. A hard shot 56 in the game by Ferhan Üstay from a close distance when the talented Birkan Kızılaslan managed to make a qualified save. Ardahan's players were relieved. In the 58th match minute, Gevas JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Başaran Sezgen to maneuver through the defense. Birkan Kızılaslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhan Üstay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deniz Tokuşhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 69 minutes, Ferhan Üstay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gevas JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferhan Üstay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Ardahan's Birkan Kızılaslan got control of the ball when Deniz Tokuşhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Ferhan Üstay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Gevas JK's Ferhan Üstay in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ardahan's goalie prevented a goal. Deniz Tokuşhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deniz Tokuşhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birkan Kızılaslan having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Rüştü Bostancı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birkan Kızılaslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Başaran Sezgen in the 80th minute of play. Gevas JK's Ferhan Üstay came free and shot a quick shot against goal 81 minutes in the game, fortunately Birkan Kızılaslan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Birkan Kızılaslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Başaran Sezgen, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Deniz Tokuşhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birkan Kızılaslan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deniz Tokuşhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Birkan Kızılaslan came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Gevas JK's Mehmet Akif Yanıker. But to his dismay, Mehmet Akif Yanıker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Başaran Sezgen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Birkan Kızılaslan made a huge save. Deniz Tokuşhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Başaran Sezgen struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Birkan Kızılaslan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gevas JK.
