The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Başaran Sezgen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alaaddin Toregün. The goal made the score 1-0. Bora Han Tolgahan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emrah Suheyl's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, Mehmet Akif Yanıker tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alaaddin Toregün saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ferhan Üstay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaaddin Toregün having to make a save. If Rahim Tatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute Başaran Sezgen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Toregün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferhan Üstay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Alaaddin Toregün made a huge save. Mehmet Akif Yanıker hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Bora Han Tolgahan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emrah Suheyl in the 42nd minute of the match. Alaaddin Toregün made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ferhan Üstay sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute Başaran Sezgen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Toregün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Ferhan Üstay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alaaddin Toregün. Ferhan Üstay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emrah Suheyl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emrah Suheyl did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Bora Han Tolgahan 59 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gevas JK's Bora Han Tolgahan got control of the ball when Emrah Suheyl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mehmet Akif Yanıker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bora Han Tolgahan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emrah Suheyl in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Gevas JK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Deniz Tokuşhan hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Emrah Suheyl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bora Han Tolgahan. That made the score 3-2 in the 79 minute of play. Deniz Tokuşhan scored 4-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alaaddin Toregün, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 minutes, Emrah Suheyl made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Gevas JK's Bora Han Tolgahan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
