The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behiç Nazır during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Soguksu booed when Kastamonuspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behiç Nazır didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Coşkun Ulubek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Güvenç Tümerk. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emrah Suheyl in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güvenç Tümerk saved Kastamonuspor from getting behind. When Coşkun Ulubek came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Soguksu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coşkun Ulubek couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Savaş Çavas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Tümerk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Bedir Eryavuz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soguksu's Alaaddin Toregün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İhsan Kapkin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Alaaddin Toregün made a huge save. If Coşkun Ulubek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Coşkun Ulubek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rahim Tatu scored 4-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güvenç Tümerk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Soguksu's goalkeeper Alaaddin Toregün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İhsan Kapkin. There was no doubt that Soguksu were the better team. Soguksu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
