Büyükorhan's Veysel Uğurlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Başaran Sezgen in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Ferhan Üstay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gevas JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 19th minute Sabit Adak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Han Tolgahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Gevas JK's goal looked a bit too open when Sabit Adak came free, but Bora Han Tolgahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veysel Uğurlubay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deniz Tokuşhan in the 23rd minute. Ant Sebih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferhan Üstay got free with Veysel Uğurlubay in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Veysel Uğurlubay came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gevas JK's Deniz Tokuşhan. But to his dismay, Deniz Tokuşhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Büyükorhan's Veysel Uğurlubay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Büyükorhan from getting a goal against them. After 40 minutes of play, Gevas JK's Ferhan Üstay made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veysel Uğurlubay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bora Han Tolgahan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ant Sebih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Asaf Yersel notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Gevas JK's Bora Han Tolgahan. Bora Han Tolgahan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bora Han Tolgahan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ant Sebih in the 57th minute. When Ant Sebih came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Büyükorhan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ant Sebih couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Akif Yanıker in the 62nd minute of play forced Büyükorhan's goalkeeper Veysel Uğurlubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veysel Uğurlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deniz Tokuşhan in the 66th minute of play. Veysel Uğurlubay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Akif Yanıker in the 72nd minute of the match. Bora Han Tolgahan was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Sabit Adak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sabit Adak really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. After some careless play in the Büyükorhan defense, Mehmet Akif Yanıker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Veysel Uğurlubay. The Büyükorhan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veysel Uğurlubay should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Gevas JK's Başaran Sezgen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Veysel Uğurlubay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-4. In the 86th match minute, Gevas JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deniz Tokuşhan to maneuver through the defense. Veysel Uğurlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Başaran Sezgen in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deniz Tokuşhan in the 92nd minute of play forced Büyükorhan's goalkeeper Veysel Uğurlubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Başaran Sezgen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-4. Veysel Uğurlubay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
