Sarigöl FK's Murat Selim Usalan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İdil in the 14th minute of play. Arif Bilge Ünan in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Altuğ Yavuzalp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mümin Olgunay hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Sarigöl FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hacı Ali Aydın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Altuğ Yavuzalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Altuğ Yavuzalp came out of the goal and Tolgahan İlkser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sarigöl FK booed when Bahçesaraytaş FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayhan Samih didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led to Sarigöl FK's Baybora Akbey getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
