Spectators: 7159 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 100) In the 9th minute Umut Eslem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babür Yüce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babür Yüce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Tarkan Ülkü, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Vehdi Kılıçer kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Atilla Tarkan Ülkü came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Babür Yüce could save by the left post. In the 17th minute, Umut Eslem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Babür Yüce. The goal made the score 1-0. Abdulbaki Gündüz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Işıkalp Oykan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Abdulbaki Gündüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Işıkalp Oykan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vehdi Kılıçer struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Babür Yüce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eceabat Spor. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Fikret Bozyiğit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yavuz Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Fikret Bozyiğit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Işıkalp Oykan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nejat Kökşin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Işıkalp Oykan having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Eceabat Spor got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Tarkan Ülkü. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdulbaki Gündüz to strike the kick off in the second half. Yavuz Spor's attentive Yakup Kadri Dervişoğlu managed to snatch the ball when Çetin Yafes made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Fikret Bozyiğit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yavuz Spor's Abdulbaki Gündüz got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Fikret Bozyiğit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yavuz Spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Fikret Bozyiğit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Garip Dede in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Yavuz Spor's Abdulbaki Gündüz. In the 80th match minute, Yavuz Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertaç İslam to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Yavuz Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Vehdi Kılıçer came free, but Babür Yüce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babür Yüce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vehdi Kılıçer in the 91st minute of play. Despite being the better team, Yavuz Spor failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
