An unexpectedly hard shot by Yıldırım Hamurcuoğlu in the 6th minute of play forced Eskişehirspor's goalkeeper Nejat Adaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğukan Nuralp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nusret İnciroğlu's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Eskişehirspor's Ömer Öğün tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Eskişehirspor's goalkeeper Nejat Adaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyhan Raci. Durmuş Keykubad hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Seyhan Raci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nejat Adaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eskişehirspor's Nejat Adaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Eskişehirspor from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Semi Koral during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute Yıldırım Hamurcuoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nejat Adaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lefter Ümran made a kick off. Lefter Ümran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doğukan Nuralp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Tatvan's Yıldırım Hamurcuoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seyhan Raci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nejat Adaş having to make a save. Seyhan Raci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yıldırım Hamurcuoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seyhan Raci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nejat Adaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Tatvan's Bayram Acemoğlu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nejat Adaş was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the game, Seyhan Raci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nejat Adaş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yıldırım Hamurcuoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nejat Adaş having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tatvan had won after a very even match.
