Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Olcay Ongar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arın Erentürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, one of Vikinayt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vikinayt. Nedim Kornes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Haşmet Talayer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olcay Ongar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Olcay Ongar came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Tünel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olcay Ongar couldn't finish the play. Bahadır Patlar's late challenge caught a Vikinayt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahadır Patlar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vikinayt booed when Tünel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahadır Patlar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayram Durucan in the 24th minute of play forced Tünel's goalkeeper Arın Erentürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Ardahan Tezkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikinayt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ardahan Tezkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haşmet Talayer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mahir Aldemir in the 27th minute. Hasret Oran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arın Erentürk having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vikinayt's Bayram Durucan got a free kick in the 36th minute. Nedim Kornes, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahir Aldemir got free with Haşmet Talayer in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Tünel's Mahir Aldemir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Ardahan Tezkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haşmet Talayer made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Mahir Aldemir sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasret Oran to make the kick off. Vikinayt's Haşmet Talayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emirşah Karaman in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes Vikinayt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nedim Kornes who took care of the corner kick. Bahadır Patlar made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Menderes Şükür however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahir Aldemir in the 61st minute of play forced Vikinayt's goalkeeper Haşmet Talayer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Tünel's Onur Orhan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Onur Orhan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tünel protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Onur Orhan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 65th minute, one of Tünel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tünel. Tahir Soytekin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Arın Erentürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasret Oran in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Tünel getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hüsamettin Kaim hit a great ball. Arın Erentürk came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vikinayt's Hasret Oran. But to his dismay, Hasret Oran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tahir Soytekin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Arın Erentürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikinayt. A collision led to Tünel getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Baransel Işıklar hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Batıhan Özay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikinayt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıhan Özay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hasret Oran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Arın Erentürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Bahadır Patlar in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vikinayt's Tahir Soytekin. Vikinayt's Bayram Durucan got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tünel's Bahadır Patlar got a free kick in the 95th minute. Vikinayt were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
