Haşmet Talayer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bekir Okdağ in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute of the match, Bekir Okdağ got a very nice opportunity to score, but Haşmet Talayer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bekir Okdağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haşmet Talayer having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Vikinayt's Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özbek Çakıroğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hasret Oran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayram Durucan scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özbek Çakıroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Özbek Çakıroğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Bayram Durucan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efekan Hünkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay came free, but Özbek Çakıroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hasret Oran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Ardahan Tezkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Özbek Çakıroğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aydemir Nazil hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half Vikinayt were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Beşiktaş's zone, Bayram Durucan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özbek Çakıroğlu came out of the goal and Bayram Durucan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bayram Durucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özbek Çakıroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayram Durucan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute of the match, Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Özbek Çakıroğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Haşmet Talayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efekan Hünkar in the 60th minute of play. Bekir Okdağ struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Haşmet Talayer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş. If Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayram Durucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Beşiktaş booed when Vikinayt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayram Durucan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bayram Durucan in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Özbek Çakıroğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute, Rıfat Tezalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haşmet Talayer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Vikinayt's Kıraç Ongar got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hasret Oran came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Vikinayt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasret Oran couldn't finish the play. Efekan Hünkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bayram Durucan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay made a precise shot to the right of Özbek Çakıroğlu. Beşiktaş's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Haşmet Talayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bekir Okdağ in the 95th minute of play. Batıhan Özay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Özbek Çakıroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vikinayt played a much better game than Beşiktaş and deserved their victory. The Beşiktaş players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
