FC.Burmer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Emin Hızlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gürol Yastıkcığlu was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Mehmet Emin Hızlan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Eskişehirspor's Nejat Adaş. Nejat Adaş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ömer Öğün charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Lefter Ümran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Abdi İksir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes of play, Eskişehirspor's Durmuş Keykubad made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdi İksir was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Gürol Yastıkcığlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nejat Adaş. The goal made the score 2-2. When Lefter Ümran came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Eskişehirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lefter Ümran couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
