Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. After a rather tough play, Vikinayt's Ardahan Tezkan got a free kick in the 8th minute. Kıraç Ongar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Bayram Durucan sped through Tepebasi FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hakan Bilgiç. After 20 minutes, Arif Uğuş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tepebasi FK and the Vikinayt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arif Uğuş hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hakan Bilgiç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ardahan Tezkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakan Bilgiç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ardahan Tezkan in the 27th minute of the match. Vikinayt's Bayram Durucan got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakan Bilgiç was a little too slow when Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 54 played minutes Tepebasi FK got a freekick which was hit by Kahraman Yalçın. Ahmet Yahya Han sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Ertaç Sözmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasret Oran in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hakan Bilgiç saved Tepebasi FK from getting behind. Enginalp Tunay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Haşmet Talayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haşmet Talayer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fedai Uçuk in the 77th minute. Bayram Durucan scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakan Bilgiç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Haşmet Talayer made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Enginalp Tunay sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, Tepebasi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayfur Celilay to maneuver through the defense. Tepebasi FK's Hakan Bilgiç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltay in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Tepebasi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayfur Celilay to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Vikinayt's Haşmet Talayer got control of the ball when Enginalp Tunay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zafer Falcıoğlu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Vikinayt's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
