Özbek Çakıroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fikri Nurdag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efekan Hünkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deniz Kurban in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özbek Çakıroğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fikri Nurdag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Deniz Kurban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beşiktaş's Bekir Okdağ got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fikri Nurdag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Fikri Nurdag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özbek Çakıroğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efekan Hünkar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fikri Nurdag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Özbek Çakıroğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deniz Kurban struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Özbek Çakıroğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polatlıspor. When Ahmet Arif Mirkelam fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beşiktaş's protests and gave Ahmet Arif Mirkelam a yellow card for diving instead. Süreyya Işıklı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özbek Çakıroğlu having to interfere. The supporters of Polatlıspor booed when Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Arif Mirkelam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reis Coşan charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reis Coşan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 79 minutes into the game, one of Beşiktaş:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 84th minute Deniz Kurban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özbek Çakıroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Başar Cihansah charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Başar Cihansah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Başar Cihansah hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Fikri Nurdag got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 94th minute, Fikri Nurdag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özbek Çakıroğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Polatlıspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Beşiktaş.
