Şensoy Hünkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gencalp Tankan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes, Erol Vacit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beşiktaş JK and the Cobanlar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şensoy Hünkar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Cobanlar. Şensoy Hünkar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samir Köken. 1-0. Samir Köken was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alpay Sadan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. When Gencalp Tankan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Cobanlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencalp Tankan couldn't finish the play. Samir Köken made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Selmi Seyhan sent off a good shot on target. Şensoy Hünkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Köken having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Alpay Sadan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Selmi Seyhan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cobanlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selmi Seyhan couldn't finish the play. Habib Ergökmen kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Habib Ergökmen's late challenge caught a Cobanlar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Habib Ergökmen helped the player get up and apologised. 40 minutes into the match, Şensoy Hünkar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samir Köken. Beşiktaş JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şensoy Hünkar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gencalp Tankan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobanlar's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencalp Tankan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samir Köken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş JK's Sezen Kalagay got a free kick in the 45th minute. Beşiktaş JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Şensoy Hünkar scored to the left of an out of position Samir Köken, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kemalettin Ünseven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samir Köken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alpay Sadan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamber Bayar struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Samir Köken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobanlar. Selmi Seyhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samir Köken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şensoy Hünkar in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samir Köken saved Beşiktaş JK from getting behind. İsmail Hakkı Kainat came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sercan Azimoğlu could save by the left post. Gencalp Tankan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alpay Sadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Köken having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Gencalp Tankan notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Beşiktaş JK's Samir Köken. Samir Köken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Şensoy Hünkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Köken having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Gencalp Tankan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cobanlar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cobanlar had played much better football throughout.
