After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Batu Cem İmge managed to get in a good position for a shot. menemenspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Batu Cem İmge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Yaşar Baykam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Paşa Oğurata fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rami JK's protests and gave Paşa Oğurata a yellow card for diving instead. Paşa Oğurata hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, İslam Özerdinc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Yaşar Baykam. Rami JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İslam Özerdinc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İslam Özerdinc to make the kick off. If Batu Cem İmge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mustafa Yaşar Baykam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İslam Özerdinc in the 58th minute of the match. Batu Cem İmge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Yaşar Baykam having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Rami JK got a freekick which was hit by Tan Canalp. Batu Cem İmge who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Mustafa Yaşar Baykam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Mustafa Yaşar Baykam successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Rami JK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Güven Afgan hit a great ball. Mustafa Yaşar Baykam was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tuna Cezlan. Resul Çoğahan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hasan Toygun having to interfere. If Batu Cem İmge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batu Cem İmge got free with Mustafa Yaşar Baykam in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. İslam Özerdinc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
