After 9 played minutes AjaxCimbom got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Yaşar Mahşer. After 13 minutes of play, AjaxCimbom's Suat Yelesen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilmi Şerhenk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sancar Aktaş made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Onurhan Naci sent off a good shot on target. Yaman Latif might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilmi Şerhenk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yaman Latif ran back to his position shaking his head. Orhan Veli Dadaloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancar Aktaş having to interfere. Azim Erseven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, AjaxCimbom's Sancar Aktaş got control of the ball when Onurhan Naci tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Orhan Veli Dadaloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Azim Erseven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Yaşar Mahşer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hilmi Şerhenk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 played minutes AjaxCimbom got a freekick which was hit by Yaman Latif. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Müslüm Kural was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orhan Veli Dadaloğlu in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sancar Aktaş saved AjaxCimbom from getting behind. In the 56th match minute, OTTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Fikret Buyrukalp to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Müslüm Kural dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hilmi Şerhenk, 0-2. The OTTO fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when OTTO's Orhan Veli Dadaloğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute, Suat Yelesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Fikret Buyrukalp hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. AjaxCimbom's Suat Yelesen got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilmi Şerhenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müslüm Kural in the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to OTTO getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Azim Erseven hit a great ball. AjaxCimbom were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over OTTO's much stronger midfield.
