In the 3rd minute Andaç Kutlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Kadir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Meriç Erboğa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yıldız SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave URFASPOR the free kick. Kamer Ulucağ kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Birkan Akman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After having played for 15 minutes, Zaid Okbaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. URFASPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaid Okbaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zaid Okbaş in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cezmi Paşa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yıldız SK's Cezmi Paşa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Münib in the 24th minute of play. When URFASPOR's Zaid Okbaş in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yıldız SK's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Rüstem Cumhur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yıldız SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rüstem Cumhur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezai Kadir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüstem Cumhur in the 34th minute of play forced URFASPOR's goalkeeper Sezai Kadir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zaid Okbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anıl Münib in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezmi Paşa saved Yıldız SK from getting behind. Cezmi Paşa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Münib, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. URFASPOR's Sezai Kadir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüstem Cumhur in the 44th minute of play. In the last second Cezmi Paşa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zaid Okbaş in the 48thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaid Okbaş was the one to do the kick off. Anıl Münib scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cezmi Paşa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Anıl Münib got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zaid Okbaş struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Cezmi Paşa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for URFASPOR. URFASPOR's Sezai Kadir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüstem Cumhur in the 60th minute of play. If Anıl Münib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kamer Ulucağ took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cezmi Paşa. Yıldız SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Yıldız SK's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Münib came free, but Cezmi Paşa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Zaid Okbaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cezmi Paşa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 74 minutes into the match, URFASPOR's goalkeeper Sezai Kadir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olcay Peker. Olcay Peker scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sezai Kadir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rüstem Cumhur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yağız Oksay took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sezai Kadir. Sezai Kadir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Zaid Okbaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cezmi Paşa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Rüstem Cumhur fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sezai Kadir, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Yıldız SK booed when URFASPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birkan Akman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes, Rüstem Cumhur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yıldız SK and the URFASPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of URFASPOR booed when Yıldız SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüstem Cumhur didn't get a good kick on the ball. URFASPOR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
