Kağan Okdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yıldırım Bahadır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anıl Arda İhsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cahit Gazir, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kürşat İpek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Bahadır in the 30th minute of the match. Azim Tuney might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Arda İhsan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Azim Tuney ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bumin Utkan in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anıl Arda İhsan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Hanak's zone, Ümit Nefer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anıl Arda İhsan came out of the goal and Ümit Nefer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cahit Gazir came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Sorgun SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cahit Gazir couldn't finish the play. The Hanak players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sorgun SK were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bumin Utkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sorgun SK's Savaşer Tolgunay shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anıl Arda İhsan but with some difficulty. In the 75th minute, Tuna Tekinel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hanak's Anıl Arda İhsan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Hanak from getting a goal against them. Anıl Arda İhsan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ümit Nefer in the 87th minute.
