Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tacettin Korkut started the match with the kick off. If Eşref Tokhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 7 minutes, Eşref Tokhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calanbula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eşref Tokhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Ankara SK's goal looked a bit too open when Eşref Tokhan came free, but Cabbar Özbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüsmen Çalapover received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cabbar Özbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, one of Calanbula:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüsmen Çalapover in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cabbar Özbey saved Ankara SK from getting behind. Cabbar Özbey came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Calanbula's Eşref Tokhan. But to his dismay, Eşref Tokhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 35th minute Hüsmen Çalapover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cabbar Özbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüsmen Çalapover received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cabbar Özbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Calanbula's Eşref Tokhan got a free kick in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hüsmen Çalapover made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Ankara SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calanbula:s goal. Cabbar Özbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsmen Çalapover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ankara SK booed when Calanbula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Barış Çinucen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hüsmen Çalapover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Tacettin Korkut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ankara SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calanbula the free kick. After 69 played minutes Ankara SK got a freekick which was hit by Tacettin Korkut. Hüsmen Çalapovers short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Cabbar Özbey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 72 minutes into the match, Calanbula's Eşref Tokhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cabbar Özbey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cabbar Özbey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hüsmen Çalapover showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Çalapover in the 80th minute of play forced Ankara SK's goalkeeper Cabbar Özbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osman Yavuz kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Eşref Tokhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cabbar Özbey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eşref Tokhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ankara SK's Cabbar Özbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ankara SK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ankara SK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Birol Deren hit a great ball. Cabbar Özbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eşref Tokhan in the 95th minute. When the match was over Calanbula could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ankara SK throughout the match.
