When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Yıldırım Bahadır took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cahit Yazgan to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emir Dikmen got free with Cahit Yazgan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamza Gilşah hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yıldırım Bahadır stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cahit Yazgan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Hanak could leave the field as winners, despite türkiyefırtınası having more of the ball for most of the match.
