An unexpectedly hard shot by Yalçın Şahvar in the 27th minute of play forced Yamanlar FK's goalkeeper Ergincan Akaydın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yalçın Şahvar might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ergincan Akaydın. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yalçın Şahvar ran back to his position shaking his head. Çağatay Yazgı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ergincan Akaydın having to make a save. Çağatay Yazgı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, TokatSpor's Yalçın Şahvar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ergincan Akaydın narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40th play minutes Yalçın Şahvar shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ergincan Akaydın and just under the crossbar into goal. Ergincan Akaydın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yalçın Şahvar's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Atilla Bumin Gazir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ergincan Akaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yalçın Şahvar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes TokatSpor got a freekick which was hit by Hüsrev Uslu. 53 minutes into the match, TokatSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Aşık Elmacı came free, but Osman Nuri Kamil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ergincan Akaydın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yalçın Şahvar in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 played minutes Yamanlar FK got a freekick which was hit by Murathan Tanaltan. When Zikri Okdağ came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the TokatSpor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zikri Okdağ couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Yalçın Şahvar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergincan Akaydın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Çağatay Yazgı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Çağatay Yazgı was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. TokatSpor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ergincan Akaydın stood somewhat misplaced when Yalçın Şahvar came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 66 minute. Yalçın Şahvar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Ergincan Akaydın when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Yamanlar FK's zone, Hüsrev Uslu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergincan Akaydın came out of the goal and Hüsrev Uslu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, TokatSpor's Yalçın Şahvar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ergincan Akaydın narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 88 in the game by Yalçın Şahvar from a close distance when the talented Ergincan Akaydın managed to make a qualified save. Yamanlar FK's players were relieved. Yalçın Şahvar in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ergincan Akaydın, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Yamanlar FK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Aşık Elmacı hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded TokatSpor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yamanlar FK.
